Hy-Tape & Securing Ostomy Pouches
A Secure, Watertight Hold Without Discomfort
Skin comfort and wear time are daily challenges ostomy patients can experience. Often times these issues can prevent those with with ostomy pouches from living an active lifestyle.
Hy-Tape is the solution to these concerns. When applied to clean, dry skin, Hy-Tape provides a waterproof protective seal around the edges of the appliance. Those who experience reactions to adhesives often find that our non-reactive qualities leave skin healthy and intact. Hy-Tape is latex free so those with latex allergies need not worry. The tape is thin and conforming which helps taping difficult areas. Our unique formula includes a zinc-oxide based adhesive which soothes the skin. Finally our tape is designed to release gently as the adhesive does not get any tackier as body temperature rises.
Please be advised that the Hy-Tape is specifically designed for adhesion to skin, and its effectiveness may vary when applied to surfaces other than skin. Additionally, the technique used to apply the tape can impact its adhesion. For optimal performance, we recommend ensuring that hands are clean and free of lotions, creams, and other substances before applying the tape, as this will help maintain a strong and waterproof seal. Thank you for choosing Hy-Tape.
